Kennet Valley TR Group enjoy a sunny June day at Pangbourne College Classic

Kennet Valley TR Group put on a good display of TR's & Stags at Pangbourne College Classic, this super event has grown over the last 5 years after the concept of Tom Cheney - Engineering Dept to arrange students to be able to see classic car variants as they had a project to restore a Bond Equipe.

This show attracts many old and modern classics with local club support and of course parents of the students who come along with their prize possessions, there were Rolls Royce, Bentley, Ferrari, Bristol, Sunbeam, MG, Jaguar, Ford and many others marques on display.

What a super 2018 Ford Mustang Bullet, a nice repro of the car in that magic film with Steve McQueen!

The show ran from 10:00-16:00 and there was great interest from members of public, parents and club members alike, ogling the many marques and enjoying the Brass band playing, hot food and of course tea, coffee and cakes.

It was good to see some KVG members who haven't been out for a while, Nigel Rossiter with his conifer TR250 and Roy Mitchell with his white TR3A, by the way Roy is looking for a TR4,5,6 and to sell his TR3A if you're interested?

As usual, KVG members made use of this great event and sunshine, have a lovely picnic and chin wag in the beautiful grounds of this college, making use of the trees for shade.
