IMPORTANT NEWS

TR FEST 4TH AUGUST 2018

If you haven't already sent in your registration for TR fest on the 4th August don't panic there is still time.

This is the main event of the year for all Red Rose members and Triumph enthusiasts. If you don't normally come to the club events don't worry everyone will be made welcome and there is a very laid back and relaxed approach to the day.

The day's events kick off with a car run at 10:30 (registration is between 9:30 and 10:30).

The afternoon events and activities include a car show, cake competition, raffle, tombola, TR spares bring and buy and the Hog Roast.

Entry fee of £10 covers Rally Plaque, route book, tea and coffee, hog roast (for driver and passenger) and as much cake as you can eat.

What more could you want?

United Utilities have kindly postponed the forthcoming hose pipe ban until after TR Fest so why not give the car a wash and come and join us on the 4th of August.

Pre registration is required for all wishing to attend.

Email trredrose@hotmail.com for full event details and to get a booking form.

July Review

Well what should I start with! The football, the weather or the IWE? The football speaks for its self I think and the weather has been nothing short of glorious. I just hope that the TR'S and their owners haven't all over heated!

There was a lot going on at Red Rose in July.

The IWE has once again ruffled a few feathers with mixed feelings regarding the venue, food and facilities and it remains to be seen what will happen next year.

Despite all this Red Rose members did us proud once again. In the Pride of Ownership category Laurie Wardle came first with his TR2 as did Mike and Carole Biddulph with their beautiful TR4A Brenda with Jonathan Smith getting the runner up in his TR4.

Peter Knapper was awarded runner up in the Masters category and he also won the judges choice award. Congratulations to them all!

Red Rose has now officially moved home and we had our first meeting at The Cock @ Budworth on the 8th July. It was a huge success with lots of regulars turning out to give their support and there were some new faces joining us for the first time. A warm welcome to you all and we hope to see you at another meeting or event very soon.

Our summer run on the 15th July organised by Richard and Sian Chandler started at The Rugg Estate where there was time for a coffee and some breakfast before setting off. We stopped off for lunch at The Chocolate House and then it was on to The Cai Dai 1950's Museum. This was a hidden gem! Very quirky and well worth a visit if you haven't been. We rounded off the day with a lovely meal in a thatched pub. Thanks to Sian and Richard for all their hard work.

Red Rose is your club and we want it to be open and inclusive. If you would like to be more involved or you have any suggestions for future events then please email us at trredrose@hotmail.com.
