LVG @ Shuttleworth

With the benefit of £10 per car entry costs we had around 30 TR’s join us to take TS2 to Shuttleworth for an afternoon picnic. Friends from both Camb Followers and North London Groups joined in and with the sun shining we enjoyed a warm, if not windy day at this fantastic visitor attraction.

The entry ticket gave full access to the museum and we had the added benefit of 2 air races using Shuttleworth as a way point during the day. Around half a dozen of the participants used the aerodrome as their starting base, so there were some aircraft movement throughout the day.

TS2 was the main attraction and regular visitors to the site were intrigued to learn more about the car and her Round Britain TouR, visiting all 52 TRRegister Groups.

Shuttleworth have a new marketing approach and now welcome arranged groups to the site. LVG hope to utilise this “on patch” facility more during our 50th year in 2023.
