Drive it Day 23rd April 2017
Each year this event is organised for appreciative motorists to celebrate the first running of the 1,000 Mile Trial in 1900. For our Drive it Day 2017 we headed West and followed a route which included some of our favourite stretches of road, without using too many winding, narrow lanes. Again we took in the very best that Cornwall has to offer in terms of open countryside and spectacular coastline. We were blessed with fine weather and enjoyed the Duchy at its most colourful. Our starting point was at Threemilestone, West of Truro. The route of about sixty miles took us through Mithian, St. Agnes, Portreath, Hayle, Marazion, St. Just-in-Penwith, Zennor before our arrival at The Tregenna Castle Hotel in St. Ives for a well-earned Cream Tea. We had a good turnout of TRs and welcomed a few other non-TRs. Now go to our new Videos section for the latest offerings from Rodders.
