The Inter-Club Weekend at the Three counties Showground, Malvern is nearly here.
If you would lie to join us on Saturday for the run over to Malvern, please see Aidan’s note below –
“If anyone would like to join us in travelling to the Inter Club Weekend event at Malvern on Saturday morning, you would be more than welcome where our timings and locations are as follows:
We will depart from the layby at Oakley at 8.00am to then travel through Islip and on to the Shell Garage just north of Chipping Norton for a quick comfort break (and refuelling if necessary).
From there we will drop down past the Rollright Sones to turn right on to the A44, following the A44 past Evesham and on to Pershore, where we turn left down to Upton on Severn to cross the river before turning right up to the Three Counties Showground.
We hope to arrive there at around 10.15am to then head to the Stockman’s Restaurant for a hearty breakfast.
Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, either en route, or at Malvern.

The Adwell Vintage Vehicle Show is Sunday 7th July and well worth a visit. Des Gilmore received this message concerning Meridian TV who are trying to get some cars together on Thursday 4th at Adwell as they cannot make to actual show date.
“Meridian TV for the Adwell Vintage Vehicle Show

Meridian would like to try and set up a “replica” of the show to film on Thursday, 4th July from 3.30pm. We are trying to find a selection of vintage vehicles and their owners to park up alongside the lakes in front of Adwell House.
The owners/drivers would be asked to say a few words about their vehicles in an interview.
We are asking around locals who have vintage cars and vehicles to see if we can borrow them and their time for a couple of hours at Adwell on that Thursday prior.
Anyone who is able to attend will obviously be given free entry into the actual show on the 7th with their vehicle and a passenger.
If you know of anyone or indeed can come yourself that would be wonderful.
We will be able to confirm if this is going ahead subject to our attempts at rustling up a decent number of cars - 10 ideally.
