Shropshire Group's Visit to Westwood House Gardens
Westwood House is located near Oldbury, just south of Bridgnorth. Mr & Mrs Trevor-Jones have arranged a country garden which has been well designed and planted around the house. It is particularly known for its tulips and the use of colour.
Sweeping lawns are offset by planted mixed borders, a pool garden and a lawn tennis court. There are kitchen and cutting gardens with everything designed to attract wildlife for organic growth. The far-reaching views display this delightful corner of the county and there are woodland walks to enjoy.
The gardener will be on hand to answer queries.
Following our visit to Westwood House, we will have a run of approximately 40 miles to arrive at The Punch Bowl for an early carvery meal.
