As discussed at Club Night,for Drive It Day on Sunday April 23rd we will be driving to Jodrell Bank Observatory in Cheshire,SK11 9DW.

We plan to meet up at the Petrol Filling Station at the A34/A500 roundabout at Talke, ST7 1UP, at 9.30AM.

Jodrell Bank Observatory is owned and managed by the University of Manchester and is a world-leading science research institute, with scientists working at the cutting edge of modern astrophysics and is an Unesco World Heritage Site.

Tickets for entry to Jodrell Bank are £12 for adults and £10 for concessions.

Parking costs £4 in addition to entry to the site but if pre-paid through web booking the ticket is valid for 12 months so is good value if you can visit several times.
