Tredegar was the home of the fabulously wealthy Morgan family for 500 years with the current house dating from the late 17th century. Their wealth mainly came from coal, iron, canals and later railways, but they also owned vast areas of land throughout South Wales.

Chris and Jan have organised a scenic route via Usk to Tredegar House where you can explore the house and discover the fascinating history of its owners.

Bring a picnic or light refreshments are available at the house.
