For Sale my Dad’s beloved 1972 Triumph TR6, 150 BHP, Lucas Petrol Injection with Overdrive in Damson with metallic light blue and black interior. It has 82746 dry miles on the clock. The car was in my dads possession for 43 years only driven in the summer and was garaged the whole time, The body is in good condition no rust on wheel arches or sills the chassis is good, original wheels restored and powder coated in early 2000s. Radiator is new. My dad had the PI restored by a fellow enthusiast, the week after, he started it up the accelerator cable got stuck at high revs in neutral and the head gasket went. My dad had the head skimmed and he painted it up ready to go back on after he got home from Cyprus. He came back from Cyprus 2 weeks later but sadly suddenly passed away unexpectedly. So the car remains as is & to be sold as a project sadly. The gearbox has been bled, but in all honesty I don’t know if there was something wrong with it? or if he was just servicing it. My dad fitted the Mazda seats but the original seats will be sold with the car as well. I have found a folder of paperwork and records/ receipts and photos please contact me for more pictures.
