Built on 29/09/55 and first registered in London on 01/01/56, this TR2 is one of the last 140 manufactured. Still in its original colours of British Racing Green with superb red interior and wire wheels, this car is in excellent condition. Apparently, it had a full body-off restoration back in the 90s and has been well looked after since, as evidenced in the deep lustre paintwork.
It has had a rebuilt gearbox with overdrive, new leaf springs, fuel pump and water hoses. More recently, it was treated to new brake cylinders, new aluminium fuel tank, ethanol-proof fuel hoses, rear LEDs and a refurbished fuel gauge.
The car drives extremely well. It is always garaged and used only on dry days.
