Kings Lynn 46th Annual Charity Classic Car Rally

Several Wensum and other TR Register group members took part in the 46th Annual Charity Classic Car Rally organised by King's Lynn and District Motor Club on 7th July.

The run started at H&C Beart’s in Stowbridge, and following lunch at The White Pheasant at Great Witchingham, finished on The Green at Hunstanton, with crews being guided by tulip diagrams.

A full entry of 75 classics enjoyed a good day out and supported the charity NARS (Norfolk Accident Rescue Service - www.nars.org.uk) in the process.  Some, but not many, even managed to avoid the showers and keep their hoods down throughout the day!

Car of the day, voted for by all entrants, was a 1982 Renault 5 Gordini. Trophies and awards were presented at Hunstanton Town Hall by the Mayor of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk, Mr Paul Bland.
