All is quiet here in Surrey, though things are stirring on Alan Kent’s TR2 restoration, due back from the trimmers and waiting on an inspection from some of our members.

We are launching a ‘Lunch Club’ in November, with its inaugural gathering down in East Sussex, well it gets us out and about. A walk on the beach on a cold sunny day, followed by lunch in a wonderful pub, fifty yards away from the brewery. More about that in the next edition.

This editions picture comes from Bob Le Brocq, who would like to show that he did have hair, back in the seventies and that he is still driving the same car.

Our last meeting in 2021 will be on Boxing Day and hopefully the first get together in 2022 will be at Brooklands Museum, New Year’s Day meeting, assuming it is allowed to go ahead.

Just to say Merry Christmas to all Thames Valley members, along with your family, we hope you have a great time and let’s hope for a superb 2022.

Our regular meetings are at the Stepping Stones pub in Westhumble, Dorking (RH5 6BS) on the third Wednesday of each month from 20:00 and our Sunday lunchtime meetings on the last Sunday of the month at the Surrey Oaks (RH5 5DZ), starting at 12:00.
