Kennet Valley Group tiptoe through the snowdrops and the puddles

A slightly deplited crew went along to Welford Park and saw a fantastic display of snowdrop and strangely a few fallen trees, despite the rain, which had its benefits with no queues and easy parking, the picture was beautiful and it was nice to get out in the fresh air.

The Welford Park owner James Puxley wife, Deborah was there with her staff serving welcome teas, coffee and cakes in the cafe marquee, in fact the tea was complimentary as a thank you to those who came along and braved the weather.

Lunch at the Five Bells, Wickham was well received too and by the time we headed home, the sun was out giving a picturesque trip home through Wickham Heath.
