Kennet Valley TR Group part to the 130+ TR's & Triumphs at Hollycombe Park Drive it Day event

Twelve Kennet Valley TR Group cars joined in on several Drive it Day runs which converged on Hollycombe Steam in the Country fair.

Starting off from Wellington Farm Shop after a hearty breakfast, members followed a Tulip route through the Berkshire, Hampshire countryside to Hollycombe, the route wound its way through Heckfield, Odiham, Alton passing near the Jane Austin museum through to Liphook (A BIG THANKS to John & Jackie Edmonds for constructing the route and checking it).

On arrival at Hollycombe, we were very ably marshalled by Thames Valley Group member to the parking area where eventually 130+ TR's & Triumphs arrived from at least 6 different Groups as far afield as Kent & Dorset.

Discounted entry tickets were arranged and members enjoyed a visit to the steam fair where the oldest Burrell Showman engine resides along with working rides and farming and industrial steam engines. A great day out and many thanks to Thames Valley Group for the organisations.

Despite Storm Hannah on the previous day, the weather held out and even the sun poked its nose out, although the wind was a little chilly
