Kennet Valley TR Group hear the history of Docklands Light Railway

At their February Club night, KVG members enjoyed a very interesting presentation by Jon Willis on the history of the Docklands Light Railway, there were amazing facts about the engineering feats of filling in the old docks at the Isle of Dogs, London and the use of old railway routes to create the most complex computer controlled system in the World today!

KVG donated £25.00 via Jon for his presentation to the Kennet & Avon Canal Trust which will be used to support the conservation of the Cofton Beam Engine, Cofton, Berkshire.
