Glavon Group New Year Walk - 8th January 2023

A good turnout as usual for Glavon's traditional first event of the year. This year the walk started at The Fleece Inn, Hillesley and took us up the picturesque Kilcott Valley nestling below the Cotswold scarp. Because of recent heavy rainfall, the walk stayed on the lanes rather than venturing through the muddy fields and was of a comfortable distance. Back at the Fleece, we had an excellent roast lunch and a convivial time was had by all. Many thanks to Noel and Ange Jones for arranging this season opener and a window of dry weather for the duration of the walk.
