Steve and Gabrielle’s Saturday 27th July Evening Run
This year, Steve and Gabrielle decided instead of doing their usual fish and chip run on a Wednesday night. They created a short Saturday evening run to incorporate more of a social night for everyone. So, on Saturday 27th July, 10 cars of which were 9 TR’s set of from Kingstown Hotel, Hedon. Where we made our way through Holderness. This was a short scenic route, through country roads and small villages. Where we ended at the Crown and Anchor pub in Kilnsea (Spurn Point). With the exceptional weather we received we were able to see across the Humber and look over at Grimsby, Bull Fort in the mouth of the Humber and clearly seeing the end of Spurn Point and lighthouse.
Steve and Gabrielle created a second route as a return journey. This was a slightly longer route, using farm tracks and farmyards to avoid use of main roads. We travelled through the woodland, passing Burton Constable Hall and finished at Blue Bell, Sproatley, to end with a lovely social.
