Hi all, once again.

And this time, for the final time. By tomorrow, (all being well), there will be another bum (literally? figuratively?) in the scribe’s chair. For all those who have flattered me by your positive comments, I would say that since Edition 286 in November 2015, it has all been well worth the effort. For a change, this is a very brief report for the Derbyshire Dales. Lots of activity, (not least of which was the D.Dales’ A.G.M.), lots of car refurbishment, (cheers and bells everyone, JimT’s six is on the road), and lots of weather, but I leave all the reporting of these details to the next incumbent.

So, to paraphrase John Ebden who ran a series on the BBC Home Service (if you have to ask, then you’re too young) and Radio 4, for about 24 years;
