Our next meeting is this coming Wednesday evening, 4th September, from 18:30 at The Peacock in Henton, OX39 4AH. Do come and join us if you can, you will be most welcome.
14th and 15th September is the Kop Hill Festival. Very many of you have already booked. This is the last call as there is very little time left before the booking system is closed, so if haven’t and want to be there, you should do it now. Saturday 7th December is the Chiltern Group Dinner Dance at The Lambert Arms in Aston Rowant. See the attached menu and flyer, which has all the booking and payment instructions. Rooms are available at a special rate of £115 for a double B&B and should be booked directly with the hotel at events@mercurethame.com. May I suggest you book early as we are limited to 80 people due to the size of the function room. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Des Gilmore at des.gilmore@virgin.net.
