Brunel Group at Llandow - 12 July 2024

The Brunel Group trip to Llandow Circuit on a clear sunny day was great fun. We were given the chance to take our "other classic" to this event so it was quite a good mix with Tony Luffman taking to the track in his 1956 Morris Minor (not the more common 803cc version, but the 2 litre, twin cam, 4 carb version!).

There were 6 TRs in all, including my TR6, a TR7 V8, and a TR250 with a Stag V8. Other cars included a Lotus Elan, a Cobra, and TVR Vixen.

It was all very civilised as always, where faster cars were waved by on the straights. Approaching the "Bus Stop" (90 left, 90 right, 90 right, 90 left, in rapid succession) at the end of the main straight was particularly interesting! But the event went off without incident.
