TR Tours - Mosel

The TR Register and Motorsport Travel Destinations, one of our travel partners, have just launched a 7 night tour to take us to the Mosel region of Germany. The tour starts by checking into the ferry terminal at Hull on 22 June for the overnight cruise to Rotterdam. We arrive at the 4 star Hotel Weisser Bär in mid to late afternoon in time for a glass of beer or local Riesling in the garden overlooking the Moselle river. We spend 5 nights at the hotel on a half-board basis except for one evening when we will explore the local bars and restaurants of the pretty town of Mülheim an der Mosel or venture over the bridge to Lieser. The 4 touring days will consist of circular routes including driving alongside the Moselle downriver towards Koblenz or upriver to Trier. We will also explore the lush green wooded region with its extensive vineyards along the river banks. You are free to do as much driving as you wish or spend your time exploring the local area with a river cruise or visits to castles and vineyards. Built into the tour is entry to the Mahymobiles collection for a more relaxed day. We will leave Mülheim on the morning of 28 June for the drive back to Rotterdam to catch the overnight ferry back to Hull.
