Shropshire Group's Autumn Run

This year we will visit the Bodenham Arboretum at Wolverley near Kidderminster. We were last at Bodenham 5 years ago, almost to the day, and it seems about time that we went back. They have advised me that, this year, the Arboretum will be Halloween themed but as we are visiting at 11:15am, it shouldn't be too scary for us! We will be staying for 2 hours to allow you to see the marvelous collection of trees and shrubs all of which should be at their most colourful. Entry  is £6.50 per person and there are various walks around the Arboretum. There is a cafe supplying food and drink but do bear in mind that we will be having lunch later

A carvery lunch has been arranged at The Down Inn, Down near Bridgnorth. The cost of this is £11.95 per head. There will be choice of meats as well as a choice of Vegetarian options along with 8 vegetables! We will arrive at The Down Inn at 2pm.

The run will take us through The Wyre Forest which should be a spectacular drive in its own right.
We shall meet at Salop Leisure, Emstrey, Shrewsbury at 09:30 for a prompt 10am start. Their cafe does provide full breakfasts from 9am so if you want to enjoy one of these please turn up at that time.
