Nene Valley Tour with TS2
We will have TS2 at our postponed August meeting on August 9th and then take it on a tour of the Nene Valley on the Wednesday 10th August, starting at Fotheringhay as below-join in if you can!

Tuesday August 9th
Handover at Grafham Water visitors’ centre. 14:00.
Leaving Pope Towers at 12:15
Leaving Thrapston Services at 13:15

TS2 at Sywell for NVTR evening meeting from 19:00
Wednesday August 10th
Drop in and out or do the whole day-be aware timings may vary on the day!
Nene Valley Tour
10:00-10:15: Tour starts at Fotheringhay
10:30-11:00: Oundle –quick coffee/photos
11:20-11:35: Thrapston and Islip, photos at the Woolpack pub.
12:00-13:00: Rushden Historical Society, photos with old steam trains etc, lunch.
13:30-15:00: Castle Ashby-park in Rural Shopping Yard visitors’ car park, chance to have tea/coffee etc, visit the gardens.
15:30-17:30: Northampton: drive through “cultural area” of Northampton, photos where possible around the Guildhall, park at Beckets Park-or Morrisons-or the multi-storey (depending how busy these are) Shop, snack, coffee etc…
18:00 dinner at the Britannia pub.
Thursday August 11th
TS2 photoshoot in front of Grace Spitfire at 08:30 with small group of members

No fixed agenda, TS2 could be “booked” by TR Register members who wish to use it for an hour or two-handovers and return to base at the end of the day will need to be pre-arranged, members should submit requests/plans to use TS2 in advance to Phil Pope.
