Camb Followers- Ladies Day 2019

We plan to meet at The Olive Grove at Oundle Road Polebrook, PE85LQ at 9.30 am for coffee and then depart at 10 am to follow a suggested scenic tulip route to Kelmarsh Hall (NN6 9LY) where we can spend a couple of hours or so looking round the beautiful gardens and wandering around the house where they have restored the massive underground servants quarters. There is a small Tea room on site and tables are available in the nearby Lime Shed, but having visited, may I suggest taking a picnic snack, bearing in mind we are having scones, cream and coffee/tea at 3.30pm. This really is a lovely place to visit.

We will then drive on at approx 1.30 pm, again via a suggested route, to The Bosworth Hall Hotel and Spa, The Park, Market Bosworth, Warwickshire, CV13 0LP where cream scones, tea and coffee will be waiting for us at 3.30 pm in the Cromptons Lounge. You will then have time to relax or take a walk around the grounds before joining us in the Bosworth Lounge, a private room, for a three course evening meal, tea and coffee. We have planned a couple of quizzes to follow.

We can then enjoy a good night's' sleep in one of the executive rooms which I have reserved followed by a hearty breakfast. For the following morning we have planned a suggested scenic route to the Gates Garden Centre, Somerby Road, Cold Overton LE15 7QB . This centre has very diverse products, in fact something for everyone, and I have reserved seating in the restaurant for 12.30 in order that we may all sit together to eat.

From here you can each make your various ways home after (I sincerely hope), an enjoyable trip with good food and good friends.
